Womens' Engineering Group

This is the current online home of the Womens' Engineering Group at Hull University.  It is a cross-departmental venture, involving Engineering and Computer Science.  At present we are primarily a social group meeting approximately once a month.  Being in such a small minority is not always easy and so we aim to make it easier for women to make contact and to get to know others in the same situation, and hopefully to have some fun.

The Womens' Engineering group is slowly getting off the ground.  We are making links with ARNWESS which aims to be a regional group of womens' engineering student groups, based in Bradford.  I will be arranging a meeting for our group in November, somehow October seemed to pass a little too fast.

Hopefully by the end of the year we will be going strong.

If you want to get involved, or added to my mailing list contact c.b.francis@eng.hull.ac.uk
